I hope that as Memorial Day comes to a conclusion, we have all had a happy and safe weekend. In addition, I hope that we all took time to thank those that have kept up free, and hope you were thanked for your service here locally.
As we rap up this Memorial Day weekend we also realize thank we are only 53 days away from the start of the 2010 TEMSEA Conference in Gatlinburg Tennessee. The events being held this year at the Park Vista Hotel and Conference center will highlight prolific speakers from around the country. Over the next couple of weeks we will highlight some of the speakers that will be bringing the new information to Tennessee educators.
Before we get into the highlights of the upcoming speakers, we are going to talk about the second TEMSEA procedural anatomy lab. 2009 brought the TEMSEA members a new service that was designed to provide in-depth instruction with a hand-on appeal to the anatomy of our patients. The procedural anatomy lab allowed skilled instructors learn from colleagues in areas that we have previously learned about only in text. As the 2010 procedural anatomy lab, instructor are attempting to take this lab even further to continue to enhance the knowledge of the state's educators.
If you haven't already, the registration is up on the www.tnemsea.com website. Also available is a section for the board member nominations. Please join us for Riding the High Seas of EMS Education at the Park Vista Hotel in Gatlinburg Tennessee. This conference will be held 21-23 July 2010. Look forward to seeing you there.
